LIMONETTE DE MARRAKECH
Origin :
This fruit is native to Morocco, where it is exclusively found.
Fruit Description :
Medium-sized fruit, slightly flattened and rounded, usually ribbed. The base is rounded or somewhat flattened, while the apex is strongly flattened with a broad groove surrounding a prominent nipple.
The rind is thin, moderately dotted with sunken oil glands, slightly bumpy but adherent, and light yellowish-orange in color. The flesh is pale yellow, very juicy, highly acidic, and aromatic.
Tree Description :
A vigorous, large tree with an upright and spreading habit, slightly spiny and very productive. Its leaves resemble those of the lemon tree but are more oval, less pointed, and often slightly curved upward at the tip. The flowers, purple in bud, appear on young purple-tinted shoots. Flowering occurs throughout the year, mainly in spring.
MEXICAIN LIME

Originally from tropical regions, this lime is known in Morocco as Doc. It is widely used in cooking, for juice, and as a natural substitute for lemon.
Fruit Description :
The Mexican lime (or West Indian lime) is a small round fruit, turning yellowish-green when ripe. Its rind is very thin and smooth, while the flesh is juicy, highly acidic, and aromatic, containing 10 to 12 segments.
Tree Description :
A medium-sized tree with a bushy, spreading habit, highly productive. Its foliage is dense and pale green, with small oval leaves and delicate flowers slightly tinged with purple. Flowering is almost continuous throughout the year, with peaks in spring and late summer.
Yield :
A well-maintained mature tree can produce an average of 20 to 30 kg of fruit per year, depending on growing conditions and climate.
