NOVA

NOVA

Category:
The Nova mandarin is a hybrid resulting from the cross between the Fine Clementine and the Orlando tangelo, developed in 1942 in Florida. The tree is very vigorous and is characterized by abundant production. To prevent cross-pollination and limit the presence of seeds, it is recommended to isolate the plantations. The fruit, medium to large in size, has a peel that is initially slightly difficult to remove but comes off easily once started, with the albedo detaching completely and leaving very clean segments. Oblong to slightly flattened in shape, the Nova is an early variety with a harvest period from November to January.
